The Central Medical Council of India (CMCI) was constituted under Order No. 2135/2000 and commenced operations on 7th August 2003, as per the notification by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Functioning as the principal body for regulating medical education and professional conduct in India, CMCI ensures that every institution, professional, and medical initiative adheres to the highest standards of quality, ethics, and transparency.
