Welcome to the Central Medical Council of India
The Central Medical Council of India (CMCI) is the apex statutory body responsible for regulating and overseeing medical education, professional ethics, institutional quality, and healthcare access across India. Established through O.S. No. 2135/2000 and operational since 7th August 2003 by Leter of notification of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, CMCI has been at the forefront of healthcare reform, medical advancement, and ethical governance.
